Sandy Morley (Antonio Moreno) leaves his home in rural North Carolina to escape his abusive stepmother. He collapses at the door of a rich Northern factory owner, who puts Sandy through college and then sends him back to his hometown to open a new factory.

This film was shot on location in Canton, Pennsylvania, and featured local residents.
