Janet of the Dunes (1913)

Mary Fleming, abandoned by her husband, brings her baby daughter Janet back to the small Long Island town where she grew up. Mary dies, leaving Janet in the care of a local man. After eighteen years, Janet’s father returns to Long Island and unexpectedly finds his daughter there.

Mabel Trunelle plays both the mother and daughter in this film, which was shot on location in Long Island.
